Comprehensive Rug Cleaning Solutions

Rug cleaning requires a tailored approach since each type of rug has unique characteristics. Our experts use advanced techniques to ensure personalized care for every rug.

Check out how we stand out below!

Step 1: Pre-Inspection

While inspecting we look for fading, discoloration, stains, wear and tear, pre-existing damage, color instability, and odors to determine the cleaning ability of each rug, possible urine treatment from pets, and any additional repairs needed.

Step 2: Dusting

Dust and particulate matter lying deep within the rug are removed using compressed air and specially designed tools. Foot traffic and dry soil can act like sandpaper on the fiber, and this step is often referred to as “air washing” or “dusting” of the rug.

Step 3: Pre-Cleaning

Traffic and heavily soiled areas are pre-treated (discolorations due to wear, fading, or chemical reactions are not reversible).

Step 4: Agitate Fibers

Using a continuous flow of cold water, combined with a mild, 7.5 ph-neutral shampoo, we massage deep into the pile of the rug’s fibers which enables us to gently and effectively remove all foreign matter by flushing them out of the rug and keeping them from settling back into the rug again.

Step 5: Rinse

To further remove soil and cleaning residue, we rinse multiple times. The first two rinses with cold water remove all cleaning shampoo from the rug. For the third and final rinse, we add lanolin to the rinse process for wool rugs to help restore the natural oil content in the rug.

Step 6: Excess Water Removal

We use a centrifuge machine to remove any excess water through an intense and powerful extraction process. Once we have removed as much water as possible, we are ready to move the rug to our climate-controlled drying room.

Step 7: Climate-Controlled Drying

A fast and efficient drying method is crucial to eliminate potential mold and mildew. Climate-controlled drying takes place in a gas-heated drying room using a combination of forced air circulation, dehumidifying processes, and heat. Most rugs will dry within 12 to 24 hours.

Bonus: Final Inspection

Before your rug makes its way back to you, we perform a final inspection. We don’t hesitate to repeat any steps that might be necessary to provide you with the cleanest rug possible!

Oriental Rug Cleaning

Our approach is both gentle and effective. We use mild solutions that preserve the intricate patterns and colors that make these rugs unique. In addition to surface cleaning, our deep cleaning techniques penetrate the fibers to remove embedded dirt, all without compromising the rug’s delicacy.

Persian Rug Cleaning

Preserving the vibrant hues is our top priority. We use color-safe cleaning methods that thoroughly clean the rugs while being gentle enough to protect their rich hues from fading. Additionally, we focus on fiber protection to ensure your rug stays soft and resilient, maintaining its luxurious feel and appearance.

Wool Rug Cleaning

Wool rugs require a distinctive cleaning approach to preserve their natural beauty. We add lanolin to the final rinse solution to enhance the wool fibers, which helps restore the rug’s natural oils and increases softness and shine. Our expertise in stain removal ensures that even the most stubborn stains are treated gently, protecting the rug’s texture and durability.

“It was the best experience ever! I had four oriental rugs cleaned, and they all turned out perfectly. There was great communication and a quick turnaround.
